- When we got to our destination they took us to an auction. There we stood on a stage and men looked at us and shouted out how much money they were willing to pay for us. The highest bidder took us.
- He is not strong enough I don't want him.
- Then I give 160$
- Going once going twice sold for 160$
- I give 150$!
- I don't know how to do this things I am only 15
- Then our owner took us where we were working. He gave us some instructions that were totally unfair. Men were not the only ones working in plantations also women. One of them was even pregnant she couldn't walk.
- OK sir
- But Im pregnant in one week I give birth
- Here you will be working every day and night from now on.
- Well suck it up
- We work hard day and night. It is very hard for all of us we are very tired.
- At night we sleep 6 of us in one wooden house on the floor. We only sleep 4 hours a day and sometimes 5. We work a lot and we eat almost nothing.
- Every day we only eat 2 times. Breakfast and lunch. We can't eat everything we want we only eat a little, but at least they feed us. The worst part is that we work every day on plantations and we need energy for it.
- I was so hungry
- Me too
- So, this is my life. Working on plantations every day without getting paid. Thinking why we deserve to go through this if we could be happy with our families. We serve someone else and it's unfair I hope this ends one day. And my children and grandchildren do not go through this.
