- It was about 10 o clock in New York and all shops except for some restaurants and store were closed. The streets were abandoned by people except for a police officer and one man.
- I can assure you officer. Everything is fine.I am just wait for my friend for an appointment made 20 years ago.
- I know it sounds a little funny. I'll explain it to you if you want to make sure its straight
- 20 years ago there used to be a restaurant where this store now stands. We both dined here, my friend and I and we made a promise that we both would meet here again after 20 years no matter what our condition might be. And so we left off to make our fortune. While he stayed here I went to the west.
- Sounds interesting. Its a rather long time since you met him isn't it. Haven't you heard from him since you left?
- We corresponded for a time but then we lost track of each other. But I know Jimmy will meet me here if he's alive. And it would only be worth coming all the way here for meeting him if he comes.
- No I'll give him 30 minutes at least. If he's alive on Earth by that time he'll be here.
- Okay I will be on my way now. Are you expecting him to come exactly at 10?

- The man smoked his cigar and waited for sometime. 20 mins later someone in an overcoat came.
