- Not necessarily. Although there is a lot of money to be made off of treating sick people, healthcare systems will also be negatively affected, along with the people of this country. This is for the reason that if a large number of contagious diseases spread, lots of people, including healthcare workers, will fall ill, and then not only are lots of people unwell, but there will be no one to treat them as well.
- That's actually a really good answer. Is there any other points you would like to cover?
- One more, and it is regarding unknown diseases. People coming from other countries might carry diseases that we have never seen in Canada before along with them, and it can cause a really severe issue. For starters, we would not have the knowledge on how to treat the disease, so it has the possibility of infecting and killing many. And with lots of death, we would grow further from our goal of 100 million people, which is a huge reason on why so many people are allowed to immigrate to Canada.
