- I was chosen to be the Receiver of Memory. My job was to take on the burden of all the memories from the past—both the joy and the pain—so that the rest of the community wouldn’t have to. I was supposed to guide them, but instead, I realized that being the one who holds all the memories makes you feel isolated, disconnected from everyone else. And so, I left. I had to know what it was like to feel everything—to live fully, with all the risks that come with it.

- I’m just a pedestrian—someone who still dares to walk outside, while everyone else is locked away in their homes, staring at their screens. My world has become a place where silence reigns, and human presence is a rarity. People don't even notice the world outside their windows anymore. They’re safe in their artificial worlds, and I’m left wandering these empty streets, wondering if anyone even remembers how to live without technology controlling their every move.

- I used to think walking alone was a curse, but now I realize I’m free in a way no one else is. True freedom is breaking away from the chains of technology and experiencing the real world—something everyone else is missing while hiding in their homes.
- I used to think leaving my community would give me the freedom I never had. But now I see—freedom isn’t just escaping rules. It’s about facing the unknown, the pain, and the joy. It’s complicated, and it’s not easy, but I’m ready for it.
- Lack of Control:Jonas’s life was planned and controlled, with no room for personal choice, just like Leonard’s world, where fear and technology kept people confined to their homes.Seeking Freedom:Both Jonas and Leonard sought freedom—Jonas by leaving a controlled society, and Leonard by walking alone in a world of isolation, searching for something real.
