- Mrs. and Mr. White are standing with Herbert in the parlour of their villa on a cold rainy, windy night.
- Is that a knock at the door father?
- Sargent Major Moriss had knocked on the door. He has just gotten back from his travels to India and has a magical gift for Mr. White
- Rising Action
- NO! I wish for 200 pounds!
- Mr. white takes the paw out of the fire and wishes for 200 pounds.
- I Have just gotten back from India. While I was there I was given this. A monkeys paw. It was blessed by a old fakir. It has the power to give 3 men 3 wishes.
- I don't want it any more, it causes to much pain for one man to handle so it must be destroyed. It must go inn the fire.
- Rising Action
- Mr. White wished for 200 pounds last night. In the morning Herbart went to work. The Sargent warned them about what could happen to them if they used the paw. They thought that they would just get money but something much worst happend.
- I am sorry to tell you but Herbert has died. He was caught in the machinery. We are very sorry. In condolence we would like to give you 200 ponds.
- Mrs. White was crying by the window. She wanted her son back. She then remebered that they still have 2 more wisheson from the paw.
- Climax
- We still have 2 more wishes on the paw!! Quick wish my son alive!
- Ok! I wish my son alive! now we wait so come back to bed. And don't say I didn't warn you.
- *Knock*
- I must find the paw. I don't want her to open that door!
- Falling action
- He is alive! My son he is alive!
- Mrs.white ran to the door. She beilved that Herbart was alive again. Mr.white new that since something bad happed last time it must be the same. Mr. White didn't want Mrs. White to open the door.
- Resolution
- Mr. White sherched for the paw has his wife ran to the door. thankfully she stumbled with the lock so Mr. White had just enough time.
- It must be my son!!!
- For my last wish, I wish that the thing at the door will go away.
- Just like that there was a knock at the door.
- Just as fast as the knock came, There was silence in the Whites house.
