The strategies of interest groups include- lobbying, education, and PACs. Lobbying is where the somebody in the interest group will talk to a specific person in charge in order to change their opinion. Wayne LaPierre is the leader of the NRA. For education the interest groups will go around and advertise their views. PACs are where groups use their money in order to support the candidate who shares a similar view as their group. In the year 2024 the NRA donated almost 1 million dollars to the Republican party.
Political parties use strategies like education, nominating candidates, and the media. Political parties use the same tactic of education. They will use their party to educate people on issues. They will also nominate candidates that they believe share the same ideals as them. For example, the Democratic party has nominated Mrs. Kamala Harris. And the Republican party has nominated Donald Trump. They also use social media such as tv. There are news outlets that are biased to parties. MSNBC is directed towards people in the Democratic party.
