- Dad can I please got to the school my 8th birthday is coming up so I will be old enough to go.
- Ok you can go to the school but be prepared for what you will experience.
- Olemaun`s father didn't think that Olemaun was ready for school so his answer was a on for now. But Olemaun didn't want to take no for a answer.
- Olemaun was obsessed with Rose's books and her tales of the girl who chased the rabbit down the hole. And if she could go to school she could read them herself.

- Olemaun went to tell her mom the good news that she could go to school and she would have to get ready to go to Akavik.

- When they got to Aklavik Olemaun`s Mother tuck her to the Hudson's Bay Company to get her some some new clothes and some stuff for school.
- When Olemaun gets taken from her mother and father at the school the nun takes Olemaun up stars to a bathe room with other girls to cut there hair.And when Olemaun gos to brush her teeth she putts shaving cream on her tooth brush instead of toothpaste.
