Existence is what we consciously experience as reality, and it is what we have created as a collective. But in dream, where the 11 or so dimensions of existence are irrelevant, everything simply is. Living by the rules of existence could get boring. As the body fell unconscious, the vessel anchored itself and let go.
As darkness befell its world, the vessel fell. It fell endlessly through the infinite sea of black. The black wasn't empty. The black was warm, and very alive. The void tightly wrapped itself around the vessel, so tightly that even the light - specks of creation brought with the vessel - could only follow so far.
Until it could follow no more. The vessel and the void were truly all that was. In the darkness, even time had ceased, for even it could not follow into the sheer nothingness that was the infinite sea of black. There was no true beginning nor was there a true end to its vastness. Only points of entry and exit.
And when the vessel decided to fall no more, it left the void, sinking into deepest fabric outside of existence. An obscuring fog altered perception as the reality formed around it. Clouding of consciousness. In the midst of confusion, the vessel awoke.
