- High above the city on a tall column stood the statue of Happy Prince. one night there flew a shallow.
- where shall i take rest ? hope the town made preparation. OH! there's a statue i'll sleep here itself...
- Shallow after listening, The prince asked him to be his messengerand stay with him for one night
- Shallow was confused of how can a sky without clouds can rain?but.....it was Happy Prince's tears that rolled down his golden cheeks
- Iam the happy prince, all these days in the palace i dont know the sufferings of my people i indeed led a happy life and died. Now im a statue placed this high. I can see the misery and ugliness of this town eventhough my heart is made of lead yet i choose to weep
