- Hi! My name is Evan I am a lifeguard at my local pool. The only problem is today was the last day.
- Seasonal Unemployment
- Well it looks like I am out of work until it is summer again. I guess I should go home.
- Seasonal Unemployment
- Well, I will miss my job. Now I am stuck at home, or have to find a different job til summer. -sigh-
- Seasonal unemployment is when people's jobs only last for one season due to weather. For example, a lifeguard only works in the summer while the pool is open.
- Cyclical Unemployment
- Lily, I am sorry to say this but due to the economic problem, I have to lay you off.
- Evan got laid off due to his job only being for the summer. In this image this is him walking home knowing that his job does not start again until the summer.
- Cyclical Unemployment
- Well, I just got laid off. I guess I should make my way home and see if there is somewhere else that is hiring due to the recession.
- Evan is sad that he can't be a lifeguard again to the summer. This represents seasonal unemployment because Evan is only able to be a lifeguard for the summer and then is laid off.
- Cyclical Unemployment
- Well, who knows how long I will be unemployed for. I hope this recession is over soon because no one else is hiring.
- Cyclical unemployment is when people are laid off due to there being a problem with the economy.
- Oh, okay boss.
- Lily is unemployed due to the recession that is happening. There was no enough money for the business to keep paying Lily to work.
- This represents cyclical unemployment because Lily was laid off due to the economy going through a recession or a downfall.
