ever since we are a kid, we are taught not to be picky on food and to always finish our meals. So growing up, we eat everything that is served to us and only get enough food that we think we can finish. We are independent when eating, it's up to you if you are gonna stuff some food at your mouth or not.
We rarely celebrate noche buenas since our father is always busy at his duty as a public servant. We only get to celebrate birthdays (if there's time) and new years eve. My older brother whom I refer as kuya pom, is the one who teaches me a lot about some of our culture as Filipino. he introduced music, and gives me insight on other things that is part of our culture, such as our ancestor being a general and trusteed person of emilio aguinaldo during the colonizations of americans.reflecting i think i am lucky to know my history, to have a good customs or kinaugaliaan that i will teach to our posterity.
