His First Flight

- A young seagull was long due for his flying lessons. But he wasn't the only one with the assignment, his brothers and sister were to fly as well!
- Finally when the next day arrived , his two brothers and sister made it . They learned to fly and flew high up in the air with their parents .But the young one still stood alone helpless on the ledge for he had been afraid to fly with them
- Every time he ran to the periphery of ledge and attempt to fly , he got daunted by the great expanse of the vast sea . He felt like his wings wouldn't support him.
- The little helpless seagull was left alone on the ledge without any food , courage and company . His family taunted him whenever they passed close by him . As the sun ascended the sky , the seagull tried to get his family's attention my pretending to me asleep at the edge of ledge , but no one noticed
- He saw his mother tearing a piece of fish , the sight of food maddened him. He begged for food but all he got was more taunts . At last his mother took the piece of fish and flew towards him but stopped straight in front of him where he couldn't reach the piece of fish

- He wondered why his mother won't come any further . But maddened by hunger , he dived straight for the food , for a jiff he thought he fell but then he flew . His wings cut through the winds . He knew no limits . He flew over the vast ocean which once terrified him . This was the story of his first flight .
