- I just personally dislike Taylor Swift and her music since she always writes songs about her ex-boyfriends. It's bizarre because it's as if she's incapable of writing songs that don't reference her prior relationships.
- Oh, her. Anyway, I’m listening to “Save Your Tears” by The Weeknd.
- And how many boyfriends did she dated already, like nine or something? Not to mention that every single one of them is very famous as well.
- What you just stated leaves a lot to unpack. I doubt you're aware, but did you realize that the song you're listening to also discusses The Weeknd's former relationship? Don't get me wrong, but I believe you're a little biased in criticizing Taylor Swift for singing songs about her ex-boyfriends but you're alright with male artists singing songs about their ex-girlfriends.
- Alright, you have a point there. But what I'm trying to imply is that she goes through men fasten than a truck, and her entire discography consists of nothing but break-up songs. Can't she write about anything other than her personal life?
- And how about Leonardo DiCaprio? Iconic actor. But how come his tendency of dating exclusively women under the age of 25 isn't as controversial as Taylor Swift dating men?
- Frankly, I think that’s a very sexist and misogynistic angle to take. Nobody says that about Ed Sheeran, Bruno Mars, nor The Weeknd. They’re all singing songs about their exes, their current girlfriends, and their love life, but you don’t raise a red flag there.
- Also, I believe you should take a second look since, as far as I know, there are several songs in her archives that talks about her mother, friends, family, fans, and personal issues.
