- Yeah no duh, lol. Net neutrality is the concept of an open, equal internet, regardless of device, application or platform used and content consumed. Proponents of the idea believe all corporations, including internet service providers (ISPs), should treat internet data and users equally.
- Hey Amanda! Today in my AP comp sci class I learned that we have access to any app that we want through the internet because of net neutrality.
- Ok lol, no need to be mean. Anyway, that's actually really cool! Imagine if that wasn't a thing, we would literally be paying to use instagram. And you can't live without instagram, so you would probably go crazy!
- Yeah for sure. Even though it is great, it has a lot of cons. It creates fewer funds for network innovations, no censorship, unfair pricing, additional regulatory and compliance burdens, and added costs for ISP's.
- Oh wow! I didn't realize that i was also bad. But I still believe that it's still a good thing because, it provides equal opportunity for everyone and high bandwidth application!
- Yeah it's still a very good thing. I know one thing for sure, net neutrality is netastic! Lol!
