- Indigo was a courtier and fought in street fights throughout Pamplona. He threatened people and fought little gangs and stole from the people who he fought. he only went out fighting when it was dark so he would not get introuble by anyone includiong the police.
- Battle of Pamplona, (20 May 1521). The Battle of Pamplona was part of the war between France and the Hapsburgs from 1521 to 1526. On 20 May, after a six-hour bombardment, a cannonball severely wounded Loyola as he patrolled the ramparts. It passed through his legs, wounding one and shattering the other. Shortly afterward, the defenders surrendered and Pamplona was lost.
- Ignatius, along with two of his companions, Peter Faber and James Lainez, decided to go to Rome and place themselves at the disposal of the Pope. ignatius met with the pope to become saint ignatius and follow jesus and become like him and do the right thing. It was here on Christmas morning that Ignatius celebrated his first Mass at the church of St. Mary Major in the Chapel.
