- Mr. Van Brut, were expecting you. Letme introduce you to Mr. Crane.
- I know Mr. Crane very well. Perhaps it is time that he takes his leave.
- Rising Action
- In the superstitious little town of Sleepy Hollow, outsider - Mr. Ichabod Crane has taken on the role of the local school master. A supestisious individual himself, he enjoys the atmosphere and handful of stories the town provides, including the legend of a headless horseman that haunts the town.
- Climax
- Ichabod's wages are not enough for his own needs. When meeting Katrina (the daughter of the wealthiest man in town), he realizes she could be the gate to financial freedom. Unofrtunately, things won't be as easy, since Katrina has sparked the interest of another man who is now aware of Ichabod's intentions, and will not stop until he succeeds in getting Ichabod out of the way.
- Falling Action
- Do not fear! I must speak to you and warn you about Mr. Von Brut.
- After being asked to leave, Ichabod makes his way towards his temporary accommodation, Ichabod starts thinking about all the ghost stories he has ever heard in Sleepy Hollow. Suddenly, he starts feeling the air getting heavier and unfamiliar noises.
- Resolution
- Ichabod's worst nightmares come to reality when the headless horseman appears before him. His horse abandons him and he now must find a way to scape before the headless horseman catches him.
- Oh no, my horse!!
- Ichabod does his best running by foot, but the chase comes to an end when the horseman speaks and shares a shocking revelation. The horseman tells him the story of how he too once was in love with the same girl as Brom Bones. Not Beaing able to bear the competition, Bones killed the now horseman. Without revenge, his soul will keep haunting the town.
- The next morning, a farmer find the corpse of Brom Bones resting in the middle of apple trees. Ichabod has disappeared , and the headless horseman was never sighted by anyone else ever again.
