- Miranda see Prospero wracking a ship at sea, Prospero explains the story about why they live on the island and who is on the ship. He tells her about Antonio overthrowing Prospero with the help of Alonso and sending Miranda and him on a leaky boat to die at sea when Miranda was just a little kid. Prospero explains to Miranda what happened for them to survive.
- O the heavens
- Antonio with alonso's help overthrew me and took over my dukedom. He then sent you and I on a leaky boat to die.
- Ariel puts Gonzalo and Alonso to sleep with his song. While asleep Antonio and Sebastian try to kill them, just before killing them Ariel wakes them up again. Antonio and Sebastian than make up excuses to why they have there weapons out.
- we saw a whole pack of lions
- there was an earthquake too

- He's the first man I've ever seen besides my father.
- Ferdinand is Alanson son who washed up on a different side of the island. When Ferdinand and Maranda meet it is love at first sight.
