- A normal day is happening in a normal town. They are on a street called Maple street. It is a normal town. A person named Steve is washing his car.
- Climax
- What appears to be a meteor flies through the sky. At the same time all the lights go off, the radios, TV's don't work. Also the cars don't start. Pete Van Horn goes to a near by town to check if the same thing has happened to them .
- Falling Action
- A little boy named Tommy says that the things don't want people to leave the town. Les Goodman's car turns on by itself so people start accusing him. Then people start accusing all different people of being and Alien.
- Resolution
- Charlie shoots Pete Van Horn because he thought it was an alien because Pete was far away. Then people start accusing Charlie of being the alien. Charlie feels really guilty for killing Pete.
- They all start arguing and blaming each other. Charlie says that Tommy is the Alien because he is the one who knew what was happening when the meteor happened. Then people start blaming Les, Charlie, and Steve.
- Two figures watch the people of the town argue, fight and blame each other. They say that all they have to do to see the people argue is to kill the power, stop a couple of cars and stop radios for a couple of hours. They say that every town is like this.
