  • Just when everybody was about to leave the dining-room, the clock struckmidnight, and when the last stroke sounded, a secret door opened in the wall and in that door stoodVirginia with a little box in her hand. Everybody ran up to her

  • One day, Virginia was walking along the corridor, when she saw a person in one of the rooms andwent in. To her surprise, it was the Canterville ghost himself and he looked really sad.

  • virgina stamping her foot and said it was he who was rude, and as for dishonesty, he Stole te paints out of her box to renew the ridículous blood- stain in the library. First he taken all her Reds and she couldn't do Any More sunsets, then he taken the Green and the yellow. Finally she had nothing left but blue and white, and she could only do moonlight scenes, which were not at all easy to paint.
  • he said he known a place where he could slept it was the Garden of Death, the churchyard. But only if she weep for him and his sins and pray with him for his soul, the Angel of Death would have mercy on him.
