There was once an olympian and a Greek God called Demeter. Demeter was the goddess of agriculture. She was the god of bread, wheat and flour.
Demeter had a daughter called Persephone. Persephone was a beautiful daughter of Demeter. One day Hades came and she took Persephone with her to the underworld.
One day when she came back to her house she was shocked to see that her daughter Persephone was gone. She started looking for her.
Then Demeter went to Zeus and asked her for help to find their daughter. Zeus was the dad. Demeter was the mom. Zeus agreed and he did not want to live his daughter in the underworld.
Zeus had sent his messenger Hermes to go to the underworld and free Persephone and Hermes agreed.
In the underworld Persephone was not happy because she was not able to see the sun and it was dark. Then Hermes came and asked Hades to let Persephone go. Hades knew that he could not disobey Zeus so he had let Persephone go.
One day when Demeter came back to her house she saw that her daughter Persephone was back and she was happy to see her daughter again.
