- Linda Thong is a Vietnameserefuge that escaped Vietnamwith her Husband, 3 brothers, 2 brothers in law, and 2 Daughters at the time. She was 10 years old when her father died in the Vietnamwar, She never finished high school becauseshe had to help her mom with her brothers on their farm. She was around 21 when they left and sadly their mother couldn't go with them to the USA.

- Their boat was small but could barley fit 55 and after 5 days without food or water people started to faint so they opened their mouths and gave them urine and they started to wake up but 2 people died.

- After two days since the two people died they met a boat Linda saw 7 people in itboat. They waved theirhands and their boat came beside it and they picked them up then put them in their boat.

- Now Linda and her family have now settled into America being able to provide her children with good education and a safe home

- They spoke the tai language so they did not know what they were saying, so the pirates took their jewelry and everything precious to them. Then they grabbed Linda Thongs daughter (the girl with no emotion is just joke)and threw her into the sea and her brother in-law jumpedimmediately to save her. After that they threw them back to the ship and kidnapped and few people.

- Everyone was very scared and nervous but still hopeful to fine Americasoon so they kept sailing and later on founded another Thai boat.
