- Hey Sam! I heard that your parents are splitting up. Let me know if there is anything I can do! I went through that too and I know it can be hard.
- Actually, Tracy, my parents are perfectly fine. They are staying together. Sure, they sleep in separate rooms, but Dad snores anyways. Trust me, they barely even fight. Just because your parents split up does not mean that mine have to as well.
- I'm sorry. My mom is friends with your mom and she told me. I must be confused. I just wanted to help!
- Well there is clearly nothing wrong. In fact, you are probably just trying to make me feel bad because your parents divorced. I'm leaving. And leave me alone!
- I was just trying to be a good friend...
- My parents aren't getting a divorce...are they? They have been fighting a bit over my grades and they do not really talk anymore. But I'm trying to make up for my grades by being good at sports! I just wish things would go back to normal. Maybe Tracy was right. Maybe my parents are splitting up.
- Every time they fought, I channeled my hurt into practicing soccer. I thought by now that they would realize I don't need good grades when I am talented. I thought that would make them stop fighting. Still, they always find something to argue about. I think its time I confront my parents and find out the truth.
- Hey Mom! Is Dad home? I really need to talk.
