- In the exposition, characters such as Alfredo, his fiancée Esperanza, Carmen, and Don Julian were introduced. Alfredo's family talks about his prolonged plan to marry Esperanza.
- I think I alredy know why you have been acting different towards me recently.
- The inciting incident occurred when Alfredo met Julia Salas who is the sister-in-law of judge Del Valle.
- This will be my last visit here.
- My parents want me back at our hometown, Calle Luz.

- Actions rose when Alfredo started to have feelings for Julia. The two always bond and see each other. In addition, Esperanza noticed the change in Alfredo's acts.
- The last time I held your hand is also the time I realized what I have lost after 8 years and that is my feelings for you Julia.
- The highest point of the story is when Esperanza confronted Alfredo. She stated that she already knew something between him and Julia. Also, Julia found out about Alfredo's marriage plan.
- I want to congratulate you for your upcoming wedding.
- Things started to fall when Julia distanced herself from Alfredo by going back to her hometown.
- Resolution occurred when Alfredo saw Julia and realized that she was now a dead star for him. Alfredo noticed that he no longer have feelings for Julia. The last time that they saw each other serves as their closure.
