- Ever since I was six years old, one of mybiggest dreams was to have a puppy!

- I was in luck, because my aunt had many puppies at home.

- Yes
- One day, she messaged my mom asking if she wanted one. My mom knew how badly I wanted a dog, so she said yes.

- We are having a puppy!
- YAYYYYY!
- When I found out, I was so excited felt like I could explode!

- "Here's your puppy"
- The day finally came. My aunt arrived holding a tiny puppy in her arms. She stepped inside our house and said, “Here’s your puppy.” I gasped and rushed to her. The puppy is a breed of Shih-tzu and pomerian who is 2 months old she is also black and white..

- Cookie is a nice name
- I played with the little dog, laughing and cuddling her. I finally chose her name: Cookie.

- COOKIE ISN'T POTTY TRAINED!!!
- The next morning, I discovered somethingshocking—Cookie wasn’t potty trained! I yelled, “She isn’t potty trained!”

- But don’t worry. After a few months, she slowly learned, and things became easier.

- Every day after school, Cookie would wait for me by the window, wagging her tail and barking happily the moment she saw me. She wasn’t just a pet she was my fluffy companion.

- But one day, everything changed. My mom told my sister and I she was pregnant. For nine months, we took care of her and the baby growing inside her.

- The baby is a boy!
- When we learned the baby was a boy, we named him Aki, which meant “brightness” and “shine.” It also reminded us of the name “Crystal,” which made it even more special.

- When Aki was finally born, I felt so joyful. He looked delicate, cute, and so small.

- We celebrated each month of his life, and now he is already six months.

- "We have to give Cookie away for 3 years until Aki is more resilient to sickness."

- "Aki has mild pneumonia the doctor said its because of Cookie's fur..."
- Then came the saddest news I had ever heard.“Crystal, we have something to tell you,” my mother said gently.“What is it?” I asked.“We have to give Cookie away for 3 years until Aki is more resilient on sickness…”My heart dropped. “Why?” I asked, already feeling tears.“Aki has mild pneumonia,” my mom explained. “The doctor said it’s because of the dog’s fur.”I felt so much pain. Cookie was my first pet, my sister and I loved her with all my hearts. But I also understood that Aki was having a hard time. I knew I needed to choose his health over my own feelings.

- So we sent Cookie to my aunt in Quezon City. I hugged her tightly before she left, hoping she would remember me. I will see her again in three years… and I hope she will still know me.
