- A beautiful day at school Mark and his friends wanted to buy ice cream from the ice cream truck that is often parked by the side of the road. Mark suggested to Jake and Frank that they go for a short stroll and buy some ice cream. They all went together and walked and joked.
- Climax
- They finally arrived at the location where the ice cream truck used to be, but they could not find it there. Jake began going ahead of them and discovered a strange aroma coming from a spot Jake warned them about. They all started walking, and the scent became more obvious as they moved.
- Falling Action
- Jake spotted the ice cream truck, but noticed that it was releasing a disgusting smell. Frank started calling the ice cream guy to get them ice cream, but no one responded, so they entered in the ice cream truck and were surprised to discover a dead body.
- Resolution
- They didn't recognize the guy at first because they were shocked, but when they got closer to the body, they discovered it was the ice cream truck owner. They began crying since they had known him since they were eight years old.
- As soon as they got out of the truck, they informed the cops. The cops arrived a few minutes later and sealed down the area since it was a crime scene. The officers told the boys not to be afraid and contacted their parents to fetch them up from the scene.
- They returned to Mark's house and began telling his parents about what had occurred. They were all heartbroken since the ice cream truck driver had died, and they were mystified as to how he died and what had happened to him.
