- When I wake up in the morning I use potential energy turning into kinetic energy by getting ready and moving around
- The chemical energy in the food that i eat is a type of potential energy. It can be transformed into kinetic energy. This happens when i digest the food
- When I ride my bike, many things happen to the energy transformations because there is so much going on.
- As I pedal, the chemical energy transform into mechanical energy. The chemical energy is Potential and the Mechanical energy is kinetic.
- When I turn on my laptop it creates electrical energy. Sound energy is produced when you hear a noise on the laptop.The electric energy turns into light energy when the laptop lights up
- Here is my little sister playing on the swing. The swings work by converting potential energy into kinetic energy and then back into potential energy repeatedly. The kinetic energy is the fast part of swinging. Its the back and forth motion that increases its speed.
- When I cook dinner the oven use heating elements to convert electrical energy into heat (thermal) energy. The heat energy can transfer to the pans containing the food.
