- Once, Saint Peter was fasting for a day and was very hungry that he felt he was about to faint.
- I'm feeling so tired. I must find some food to eat.
- He saw a little woman baking some cakes and asked her to give a piece of it.
- I'm starving..Can you give me a piece of cake to eat?
- Sure, let me bake a cake for you.
- The woman starts baking the cakes
- All these cakes are too large to be given away...I should make a smaller one.
- Saint Peter, lived in the world below, preaching; came across a cottage. As he had been travelling the world and fasting for a long time, he was starving with hunger
- The saint loses his patience, he grew angry as he was hungry and the woman's greed was enough to provoke him.

- She then baked a thin wafer with a tiny scrap of dough but still wasn't able to give it away. She decided to keep all those cakes in a shelf and prepare another cake
- When Saint Peter cursed her she became a woodpecker and flew through the chimney. The bird had a red cap on her head same as the women wore. All the other clothes of the woman were burnt into ashes.
