- Slide: 1
- After a long day at work, Patrick Maloney finnally arives home. Mary who was waiting eagerly for him greets him at the door.
- Hullo darling.
- Hullo darling.
- Yes i'm tired.
- Tired?
- Shall I get you anything?
- We need to talk. Would you sit down?
- Would you like me to get you some cheese? I haven't made any supper because it's Thursday
- No. Sit down, just for a minute sit down.
- Slide: 2
- As they sit together, Patrick seems unusually distant. He then reveals a devastating truth.
- Listen, I have something to tell you.
- What is it darling, what's the matter?
- This is going to be a bit of a shock to you. I'm leaving you. I know it's kinda of a bad time to be telling you, but there wasn't any other way.
- Slide: 3
- In shock, Mary walks to the freezer.
- For God's sake, don't make supper for me i'm going out.
- I'll get the supper.
- WACK!
- Slide: 4
- Patrick falls to the floor. Mary stares, realising what she's done.
- All right, so I've killed him. I know what the penatly will be but what would become of my child?
- Slide: 5
- Mary prepares supper as if nothing happened. She places the lamb in the oven.
- I have to act normal. No one must suspect anything.
- Slide: 6
- Mary goes to the grocery store, making an aliby for herself.
- Hullo sam.
- Why, good evening, Mrs. Maloney. How're you?
- I want some potatoes please, Sam. Yes, and I think a can of peas. Patrick is tired tonight, and does not want to eat out. Ive already got meat.
- How about a slice of cheesecake?
- Thank you, Sam. Goodnight.
- Goodnight, Mrs. Maloney. And thank you

- Mary returns home, kneels down beside Patrick and cries her heart out.
- This is Mrs. Maloney. Quick! Come quick! Patrick's dead!
- Patrick maloney's dead?
- I think so, he's lying on the floor and I think he is dead.
- Be right over.
- Slide: 8
- The police arive's at Mary's house.
- I'm afraid he is.
- Is he dead?
- Slide: 9
- The police search despratly for the murder weapon.
- It's the old story get the weapon, and you've got the man.
- Guys, would you do me a favor and eat all the lamb that's in the oven. It'll be cooked jusy right by now.
- Slide: 10
- In the other room Mary began to gigle.
- This is very kind of you miss Maloney.
- Personally, I think the weapon is here on the premises.
- Probably right under our very noses.
