The definition of climate change is a change in global or regional climate patterns, in particular a change apparent from the mid to late 20th century onwards and attributed largely to the increased levels of atmospheric carbon dioxide produced by the use of fossil fuels.
This issue is completely unprecedented, experts don't even truly know how to combat it's challenges. And we don't really even know what could happen if it continues to worsen.
Climate change has many different effects on the earth, Such as water levels rising, and wrsing weather disaters. And worsing water pollution conditions are only worsing the climate.
And its not just the earth heating up, it has so many non-measurable effects. such as the melting glaciers and rising sea levels.
Climate change can also lead to even scarier secondary effects, such as famine, war, and wide spread disease
we only get one earth, and research isn't far enough along to move to another planet.
In the end, taking care of our planet and addressing climate change is the most important issue right now. If it isn't at least being tended to, we may not a habitable planet to live on. And if we don't have a planet, there wont be any problems to worry about anymore.
