- This is Antonia. She is the wife of a very wealthy Roman Senator. Their family lives on the Palatine Hill along with many other important families. Compared to the common folk in Rome, Antonia lives a lush life. However, it's still Ancient Rome, meaning, Antonia is not allowed to vote or be a senator, herself, but is expected to produce and raise part of the next generation of senators.
- Antonia's main job is to bear children and teach them the traditional Roman ways. She is an educated woman because she is wealthy, so she passes this knowledge onto her offspring. Antonia also submits to her husband and talks him down after a heated day with the other Senators.
- Antonia spent a great deal of time worshipping the gods she believed controlled her circumstances. This polytheistic way of life created the notion that there were spirits all around us and if something bad were to happen, it's because one of the gods is upset.
- This is Shengtong, wife of Guang Wudi of the Eastern Han Dynasty. Beauty is emphasized as one of the most important aspects of being a woman so Shengtong tries to look her best everyday for her husband. It would be a shame not only to her, but to her family if she was not kept up. Acupuncture was a common medical practice, as well
- Most women would weave silks and baskets for a living, but it is simply a pastime for Shengtong, as she is a wealthy woman and must take care of her large household. Elders held great significance and were of the utmost respect, so she would take care of them as well as her children. Money was a blessing and Shengtong wore extravagant clothing and ate such food as well.
- Antonia is seen here praying to her ancestors, as she believes that they have a connection with the gods and can influence events in her life just as they can.
