- Hey Joseph I heard there is debate about federalism or anti-federalism. I want to vote for a federalist. We need a strong central government. We need to boost the economy and keep peace.Instead of being individual states.
- I feel like a strong central government would not be good because it weakens the state government powersand they can abuse their power
- In my opinion a strong central government would not end up like Britain because they can solve economic issues like for example during shays rebellion If we had a strong central government we could’ve solved the issue of farmers not being able to pay their taxes because the central government would have raised money from the states to help the farmers in Massachusetts.

- But The Constitution does not have a bill, so how would the federalists protect basic rights? So it can also end up like Britain.
- YEA BUT WE CAN JUST MAKE A NEW BILL OF RIGHTS, with amendments that can make the states more united.
- Also With Federalists winning It we can solve other issues for example states fighting each other. If we had a weak central government and a strong state governments It would make the states individual and they cannot stop conflicts between states because they are not united by a strong central government.
- But I think I can’t agree with having a central government because that was the reason we had a revolution. It was because Britain was abusing their power with a central government.
