I picked this background/ color of sky because when reading the story the tone felt mystical, magical, and mythical. That's why I chose a pink sky and a big tree for the background.

Beware of the Jabberwock, my son! The jaws that bite, the claws that catch! Beware the JubJub bird, and shun The Frumious Bandersnatch!
The story Jabberwock never gave any physical description of any characters except the Jabberwock itself so I chose the characters to be a wizard and a medievil soldier.

I chose this background because in the story the son rests standing by a TumTum tree lost in thought. I did not know what he is thinking about. I thought this was the next best thing.

The reason my Jabberwocky is green, snake like, and flying is because that is based off the pictures I saw. The background I chose is for the belief that this is what it looks like behind the TumTum tree.

And hast thou slain the Jabberwock?Come to my arms, my beamish boy!O frabjous day! Callooh! Callay!
SNICKER-SNACK
The pose that I chose for the Jabberwocky and the son was based on the fact that the son kills the Jabberwocky and takes his head going away from his newly won victory.
