- Ponyboyboy Curtis has just been slapped by Darry Curtis for arriving home late without a verifiable excuse. Ponyboy is running away from Darry as a result of this action.
- The Outsiders: Rumble On
- Ponyboy and Johnny Cade have ran away from the city of Tulsa after Johnny killed someone They've left for a small, abandoned church in Windrixville.
- The Outsiders: Stay Gold

- Ponyboy, Darry, and Sodapop Curtis, and Dally Winston unite/reunite after Johnny is severely injured from a church fire.

- Soon after the after the last scene, Dally dies in a shootout with police, Pony starts to flunk English class, Pony and Darry get in an argument over school, and the argument ends. Now Ponyboy begins his new English assignment.
