- No, let me pass, and maybe you'll be spared by the law.
- A rich man is walking home from work through the alley by the train station, when he spots an unusual man. The man, a local gangster, tells the man to give up some of his paycheck. The man refuses, causing the gangster to flare with fury.
- Lot of money you got there, aye?How bout you drop it for me?
- As soon as the rich man refused, the gangster draws his pistol, opening fire on the man. The gangster yells out in anger at the terrified man, determined to get the money.
- No please don't!
- Money and your life, fool!
- At last, satisfied with his earnings, the gangster brags to himself about how happy his boss will be. He knows Jamal Smith's taste in crime, and he thought that this would be his chance to move higher up in the ranks of his gang.
- All mine now. Jamal is finna be happy!
- Suddenly, a squad car arrives on the scene! The gangster tries to make a break for it, but is quickly caught by the veteran police officer. The gangster cries out in sadness, trying to claim he was innocent., while the police officer feels the sorrow of the now lost man.
- Suspect is in custody, this truly is a tragic day.
- Man! I ain't do nothin' cuh! Whatchu doin fool!
- POLICE
- A few silent minutes later, they arrive at the jail where the man will be held overnight, awaiting his court case the next morning.
- You'll be here tonight while you wait for your court case, Ill escort you to your cell after we get you registered.
- It's alright, you can still plead your case in court tomorrow. Get some rest.
- As the next hour came and went, the police officer moved the gangster to his sell, trying to reassure him. On the other side of town, the rich man's family mourned his terrible loss, preparing his funeral for the next day. The next day came, seeing the gangster sentenced to life in prison, and the rich man to life in the grave.
