- "monday morning" Ryan is a 17 year old boy who is staying alone at his house for a week because his parents are going on vacation. Ryan only had one duty and is to watch over the dog and to not forget to feed him.

- After Ryan's parents when on vacation he invited two of his friends michael and kayla to his house. Ryan suggested "we should do something". Kayla had an idea, she said we should watch a movie and eat popcorn. Michael had a better idea he suggested "we should have a party" "friday afternoon"

- 9:30 pm "friends start to show up" Ryan and Kayla are welcoming everyone that came to the party. Almost eight hours since Ryan seen Rucus "dog".

- "saturday night 3:40 am" Ryan says " i guess everyone is having a good time but its time to shut this party down my parents will be home around 12pm today .
- "sunday morning" Ryan wakes up with a headache from last night "12 hours since he seen the dog" "looks at the clock... oh crap they'll be here any minute.
- Dad asked me where the dog was at and i totally had forgot about the dog. NOW WHAT DO I DO!!! "what happen with you being responsible. You negligent on doing one thing and one thing only. " dog was never found"
