  • This is so unfair how we get treated poorly because of our skin color. 
  • This is so unfair how we get treated so poorly and unequally because of the color of our skin
  • Stop treating us poorly. We will protest!
  • Citizens march the streets protesting for their rights.
  • You will do no such thing! Go back to where you came from before I arrest you.
  • You will do no such thing. Now get out of here before I arrest you.
  • Stop mistreating us and being racist. We will protest!
  • Martin Luther King Jr. gives his famous speech, "I Have A Dream" at Washington DC and encourages the citizens to protest for their rights.
  • Finally, after all the protesting, the civil rights act has been passed in 1964.
  • "Now is the time to make real the promises of democracy. Now is the time to rise from the dark and desolate valley of segregation to the sunlit path of racial justice. Now is the time to lift our nation from the quicksands of racial injustice to the solid rock of brotherhood. Now is the time to make justice a reality for all of God's children."

  • After all the chaotic events that occurred, there was no segregation anymore and everyone was given equal treatment and the community flourished.
