- TOUR'S OF ROME

- Welcome to the tours of Rome. We show how Rome was built! Please start boarding the bus!
- Look out the window its Romulus and Remus! This is how Rome was created.
- Rome was built on 7 hills. It was located near both the midpoint of the Mediterranean Sea and the Tiber River. The earliest settlers arrived in pre-historic times. Latins were considered to be the first settlers.
- Rome was founded in 753 B.C by us! We are Romulus and Remus.
- On this part of the tour we see the king! He was the last king before Rome became a Republic!
- Rome started to grow. Kings made orders for new places to be built like the Forum. Tarquin the Proud was the last king. He ruled too harsh and the people decided they never wanted a king to rule after him. This made a republic government form!
- We are great tour guides!
- I rule over Rome!!! I'm Tarquin the Proud!
- The twelve tables were formed which was where laws were written down. Rome started to value their military and soon after Rome conquered Italy. The power throughout Rome started to spread. They went to war with Carthage. Rome got a daring military leader who helped them win the Punic Wars.

- Ceaser really is the talk of the town!
- Julius Ceaser was a very strong military leader who was excellent at military strategy. He led Rome to conquer Gaul which made Ceaser a popular topic within Rome, but he gave too many people from outside of Rome citizenship. He also gave government positions to his following, friends, and family. When Ceaser died war broke out again.
- Did you hear that Ceaser conquered Gaul.
- These are the 3 rulers that came together after Ceaser died.
- Three of Ceaser's supporters came together after he died and ruled together for ten years. One of them was Octavius and he got the nickname Augustus. The empire was at the height of its power during this time and the Pax Romana formed.
