- It started with me waking up flustered, thinking about how my future would end up. Overthinking about things that are beyond my reach. And thinking how things could have been better if I have done things differently.
- Having to deal with thoughts that I could not control; it raged through me like a flash flood, it was controlling me like I was only a passenger on my own vehicle. I needed time to adapt and reflect.
- But then I thought to my self; Why do I fear what I fear? Why do I think about the thinks that do not need to be worried about? Why worry about something that I could never control?
- I have thought about those who were dealt with a huge disadvantage just with the way they are born; depending with the shade of their skin. Those who are never given a voice.
- Those who were born without the convenience and comfort that one could have in the present-day, those who were forced to live the life they never wanted in the first place. Having to struggle just to get by
- All-of-a-sudden, everything felt lighter. It felt as if the skies became a different shade of blue, as if I came to a huge realization that I am living a life that most would say an Ideal Life, It gave me relief and reassurance that no matter how bad it may seem, some have had it worse. I am extremely lucky to be in the position that i am in today.
