- "Miles!" I say, both frantic and relieved."Is he okay? Is Corbin okay?"(Rachel, 236)
- This is important because there was a plane crash and Rachel wants to know if her brother was okay.

- This is important because it shows what "ugly love" means and how it's shown in this novel.

- "Whoever coined the phrase "I love you to death" obviously never experienced the kind of love Tate and I shared. If that were the case, the phrase would be, "I love you to life. Because that's exactly what Tate did."(Miles,318)
- This quote was important because it sums up how Tate and Miles loved each other.
