- If a hostage situation were to take place outside the secured area:• Press your wireless panic button and any fixed panic button within immediate reach• Do not let the perpetrator into the secured area• Do not initiate or maintain communication with the perpetrator• Do not give any money• PROCEED TO THE SAFE HAVEN, BOLT THE DOOR BEHIND YOU, PRESS THE PANIC BUTTON(S) WITHIN THE SAFE HAVEN• USE THE PHONE LINE IN THE SAFE HAVEN TO CALL 911. • Call your Branch Manager, DM and RLPM After you have been cleared to disconnect with the 911 operator, as soon as possible contact your Branch Manager. If they are not available, contact your District Manager. If they are not available, contact your RLPM.• Under no circumstances are the details to be discussed with the media
