- There was a year when Drake, the walrus was born in the Arctic Ocean
- competition
- Drake loves eating, especially clams, crab, shrimp and snails. Since he has a lot of friends and peers around him, it is hard for Drake to find food and compete with his peers for survival. But for drake, it was easy for him to compete against everyone else for food
- predators
- Since Drake likes to hunt for food, he also has to watch out for his predators, like sharks and polar bears so they dont get hurt and get eaten
- adaptation
- One time, Drake got bullied by the polar bears for having bulky tusks but realized that all of his other peers had the same type of tusk. After a while, Drake wasn't ashamed and found his tusks helpful to help him climb back up to land and defend himself from the preys
- natural selection
- Since Drake found out that it was the easiest for him to hunt for food, he and his peers were able to use his skills and his tusks to defend themselves from the prey, continuing their practices and passing it on into the next generation after the other
- artificial selection
- Drake comes from the carnivora family and the marine mammals meaning that they have increased their traits
