Storyboard Text

  • After losing just six men to the monstrous Scylla that attack the ship, they have been thrown off course. Odysseus reminds the men of what Circe warned them. Not being tempted to eat the cattle may be hard for them but, they can live with whatever else they can find.
  • But they look so good compared to the rest of the food on the island
  • Circe warned us, by stating, "I see destruction for your ship and crew" if any of the cattle were messed with.
  • Odysseus tells his men that they are low on supplies from the ship, and will have to find another food source. He knows that the gods would not like it if he and his men were to eat the cattle that the sun god likes to watch.
  • I have to ask the gods!
  • What will we do?
  • Odysseus runs to speak with the sun god (Helios) in-order to find a better source of food, and an answer to his questions about eating the cattle. Doing this, he is trusting his men not to eat any of the cattle that is provided in front of their hungry eyes.
  • Remember "Their shepherds Phatehusa and Lampetia, sweetly braided Nymphs that divine Neaera bore to the overlord of high noon, Helios."
  • I have to quickly ask the gods before my men get any temptations. Not angering, the gods and synths Circe warned about.
