- she was married off to a man she thought was lesser than herself and she hated ot she would cry thinking of all the stuff she thought she deserved

- one day her husband knowing her sorrow he spent all his money to buy her a ticket to get into a fancy party but she was still mad not having something to were so he went in debt and bought her everything to make her happy she also borrows a very expensive diamond necklace from her rich friend and she wears it to the party
- resolution
- she goes to the party and is having the best time of her life until she realizes once they get back to the apartment that they lost the diamond necklace they looked everywhere for it but found nothing then they tried finding a replacment
- eventually they find a replacement but they have to pull out so much money and make so many loans they are poorer then theyve ever been they have to buy this necklace thats almost a million dollars to give back to her best friend and so she has to work and work and work
- one day after 10 years she paid eveything off but now she was an old hag and wasn't pretty. she was walking when she saw her friend with a little girl and she decided to tell her everything. the friend was saddened by all the work because the necklace she originally had was a replica not a real diamond.
