- I know about Opioids! Opioids affect nerve cells in the brain and body. They tell the brain to block pain and make you feel calm and happy. An Opioid is as substance used to treat moderate to severe pain.
- Do you know what illegal stimulants are? These are Cocaine and Meth.
- The three gateway drugs are Tobacco, Marijuana, and Alcohol. Alcohol works as a depressant on the CNS and makes you feel loose. Tobacco is a drug that works as a stimulant and makes you feel high.
- Yes, two more are Nicotine and Marijuana, Marijuana is a drug that alters the brain. Nicotine is a drug that speeds up messages with the brain and the body.
