- PROBLEM ( CONFLICT)The agency's primary focus is to ensure that the deceased receives a holistic and suitable burial or sends off ceremonies according to the individual's wish.The lack of grief and bereavement counseling available to grieving families is a significant problem not adequately addressed by A Sacred Passing.The death care worker's primary focus is the deceased individual, who can make it relevant as to why inadequate support is provided to the grieving families.Without proper training, death care workers may unintentionally say or do things that can exacerbate a family's grief or prolong their healing process.
- THE ROOT OF THE ISSUE The absence of certified social workers and therapists to help mourn families through grief and bereavement counseling.Many families may also lack the financial means to attend counseling services or may not know where to turn for bereavement support.
