- New York is seperated into two gangs, the Greasers on the East side and the Soc's on the West side. The main charcter is Pony boy who lives with his two older brothers as a orphan. He is also a greaser.
- CLIMAX
- The two gangs are rivals, always in a fight Johnny and Ponyboy get beat up by the Soc's. They later get into a bigger fight.
- FALLING ACTION
- We Won the Rumble...Johnny?!?
- Johnny kills Bob after being attaked to help save Ponyboy.
- RESOLUTION
- My Writing Paper
- They run away to an old church with the help of dally to avoid the police. A fire starts in the church with children dtill inside and the boys diside to help them.
- Johnny, Dally and pony boy get injured but ponyboy continues to fight in the rumble of the two gangs, the Gresers win. But Johnny Dies leaving Dally to get killed by the police out of sadness.
- Ponyboy still is very sick and sad after the deaths and is doing bad in school, he disdes to compelte a paper over what all happened and figures out that everyone wants better no matter there gang.
