During this revolution, people could finally settle down in one spot instead of always being on the move hunting. They learned how to domesticate animals such as horses, sheep, pigs, and goats. They also learned how to domesticate plants like rice, wheat, and corn. Early civilizations grew, and people labor specialization.
During this revolution, many farming methods and machinery innovations were made. Farming methods such as selective breeding, 4 crop rotation, and fallow. Machines made were the thresher, seed drill, and the scythe. The effects of this revolution were a population boom, more affordable food, and more people worked in factories.
During this revolution there were positive and negative effects. Agriculture was modernized, famers could make more food on less land, and people could eat more. Some negatives were chemicals could affect the environment, water was polluted, and there were birth defects. Some innovations during this time were genetically modified crops for better plants, and larger crops could be grown.
