- My name is Antoine, I'm in here for 10 years for combining elements and blowing up a whole building

- are you some type of scientist? I don't have knowledge on elements can you explain it to me
- We have a table in chemistry called the Periodic table that list all kinds of elements and I study Alkali Metals, their are 6 elements in group 1.
- What are these elements called and why are they group number one.
- The group number indicates the number of valence electrons present in the outermost shell of an atom of an element. All alkali metals have one electron in their outermost shell. Hence, they are placed in Group 1.
- Lithium (Li) , Sodium (Na), potassium (K), rubidium (Rb), Cesium (Cs) , ad francium (Fr) are six examples of chemical elements.
- What is your favorite element out of the alkali metals?
- My two favorite elements out of the alkali metals are sodium and potassium. I like these because they both have an important role in biological life.
- So , what are the chemical and physical properties of the Alkali Metals?”.
- I am glad you asked , the physical properties are metals that have high thermal and electrical conductivity , lustre , ductility and malleability ate are some of the properties.
- “The chemical properties of the Alkali metals , are highly reactive at standard temperature and pressure”.
