- How It Started
- You trying to fight?
- I want this land!! And.. ALL of North America!
- You know what? Yeah lets fight.
- Well too bad because i want it!
- Relashionships Before the War
- Hey we are going to enslave you and treat you bad.
- The War
- You have the Cherokee?!
- You have the Natives?!
- Both the French and England wanted to expand in North America. The French began to expand south and the Britsh began to expand west until they eventually ran into each other which was bound to happen at the Ohio River Valley. The French then begins to buildforts to keep the British from expanding and obviously England did not like it one bit.
- Fighting in the War
- The Natives and French were on good terms before the war meanwhile the British and Natives were not on good terms because the British treated the Natives badly and enslaved them.
- Outcome
- Because of them both wanting to expand and getting into each others way this led to war between them. The French had the Natives/Indians helping them fight, meanwhile the British had the Cherokee on their side
- Effects
- The war was brutal and the French ended up losing to the British after about a total of eleven thousand people died in the war, mainly because of disease.
- To end the war a peace treaty was signed in Paris in 1763 to officially end a long seven years of fightig between England and France.
- As a result the war cost the British national debt to almost double in price and they ended up trying to tax the colonists which lead to problems as well as them not appreciating the Cherokees help in fighting the war.
