So during the rule of Emperor Vespasian he was thinking a way to entertain the population b gladiator fights and etc. so the poor Romans have something to be entertained with and so the don't rebel so he was wondering if he would build the Colosseum.
Making the Rules and Plans
Emperor Vespasian told his architect to build a circle building which has space in the middle which can have battles, gladiator contests so the crowd would be entertained.
Hmmm. I love it. You can hold the first Gladiator contest tomorrow and make it free so then everyone can come and watch even the Plebeians!
So the builders were building the colosseum and the king is checking if that is how he wanted.

So the Emperor is thinking that if he should make it free . So he will make it free so that the population will like him and that no slaves will rebel because it is for free.

So when the colisseum was built the king came to check and then announced the official opening date and the 1st contest that will take place.
